Magical Math Tour

Performed By: Brian Curry

The Magical Math Tour is a magic assembly, so you know the kids will love it. The program reviews math concepts that your students will be tested on during their standardized tests, so you’ll be cheering as well. The show reviews fractions as I tear a newspaper into halves, quarters and eighths, and then magically restores it. It reviews money sense and probability in a special version of “Deal or No Deal.” The Magical Math Tour is 45 minutes jammed with fun facts, audience participation, and inspiring messages about math.

Brian did an outstanding job. The kids, parents, and teachers, all stayed engaged. We were looking for a show with educational content, but strong on entertainment. Brian delivered on both! Brian was very easy to work with, and I appreciated that. Great job!

This program was wonderful and students and staff all loved it! The magic tricks were great but all related to math concepts that our students were studying. It fit with our curriculum and was very entertaining. Some of the teachers said it might be the best program we've ever had. Brian was professional and pleasant to work with as well and had all the required insurance paperwork. I highly recommend this program!

Brian made math so fun and effortless! Even with a room full of Advanced Academic students, he entertained and challenged them from the moment they sat down to the time they left!

This is the second time Brian Curry has presented his mathematical magic show at James K. Polk Elementary School. This year, I decided to raise my hand and volunteer for one of his magic skits. The view is certainly different from the stage versus your seats. The things we do for our children. His show is terrific. Any school could expect to be very happy for their return on investment. The students are engaged, smiling, learning, and all participants laughed throughout the presentation. My family had a great time. It is very obvious how much work Brian Curry puts into his craft. This is a top notch production for school children.

This was a fantastic assembly! The students were engaged the whole time. Brian was quick witted and kept the kids on their toes. He included math concepts mixed in with magic tricks, which fascinated the students. In addition, Brian used a lot of subtle management tricks to keep the students focused and ready to listen. I received several unsolicited compliments from teachers of all grades at my school. It is without reservation that I recommend Brian Curry to perform in any school.

Brian Curry came to Meadowland Elementary in Sterling Virginia earlier this morning and was absolutely fabulous!! He was a hit with the students as well as the faculty. He reviewed math concepts (the audience was kindergarten thru fifth grade) and everyone was able to relate due to his method of "teaching". He used music, magic and humor and every single person-students and faculty alike were in his hands. I have sat through a number of assemblies throughout the years and this is the first time I have ever been compelled to share the experience-and that's what his performance is-an experience. Please book him-you will love it, the kids will absolutely gain from the time spent away from the classroom. I also highly recommend that you spread the word to the faculty-don't miss this assembly-if it's the only one you sit in all year-go. You will be so so happy you did. And the children will thank you for it!!

Brian Curry is WONDERFUL! Our assembly was for approx. 400 elementary students. They all LOVED it, even the cool fifth graders! HE covered concepts that they all were familiar with and there was not a dull moment. He showed up early to set up and was ready to start when the kids came in. My principal has already said she wants him again for next year!!!

Brian Curry did an outstanding job. We had him come out to perform for our Family Math Night and he really impressed the students!!! There were several magic tricks that incorporated lots of math and the students were so in to it. We had a few middle school big brothers and sisters in audience as well who were just as excited about the show as the elementary aged students. So many of the students came to school the next day wanting to check out his book from the library in order to learn some of the tricks on their own. I would definitely recommend this show for a Math Night. It is just the right length and the students really gain a lot from it.

Brian Curry continues to impress. We have had the Magical Math Tour show at our school twice, and the students LOVE it! It is a wonderful review of math concepts (often disguised with fun tricks & games so children do not even know it's a learning experience!), and it is highly entertaining for both students and teachers. Brian Curry uses music throughout all of his shows to engage the audience, help maintain the students' attention, and keep the energy level up. He is a true performer and is gifted in how he interacts with children of all ages. I would highly recommend Brian Curry to any school looking for a unique, educational and entertaining assembly! He puts on a quality show, and he is also very gracious to work with.
